Forever Pink is the unique alt-rock long-term project from songwriter, instrumentalist, director and founder, Maxwell Mandell. The project began with the Virginia-based artist’s first self-recorded and produced album which was composed in support of mental health sufferers (Kairo by Obscure Sorrows Project).
Each release that has followed is an extension of his primary focus to create communities around art and to advocate for mental health awareness.
The forthcoming alternative album was created in collaboration with members of his arts-based community; it serves as a rhythmic invitation to join the conversation and tell your own story. With a mix of heavy rock and ambient soundscapes, the expressively explorative release sweeps across the tonal palette, consistently shifting in style and tone with anchoring on evocatively composed melodies and cinematic flair.
The first release of this monolithic multi-volume music series is currently in production and due for official release in late 2023.
